Welcome to the subreddit for Nuclear Throne, the gun-juggling, limb-growing, mutant-shooting action video game from Vlambeer. Otherwise.Join the official Nuclear Throne Discord server! HOWDY, THRONE SEEKERS! My only real complaint is that the game can get repetitive after a while. The characters are all very vibrant and the OST is pretty great too. I was hooked from the start, and though the game can be pretty unforgiving at times, it’s a blast when you get the hang of it. Nuclear Throne is incredibly fun and fast-paced. Every now and then you still open the game and kill the Throne, just to remember that you still can. Maybe you’ll even sit on the throne! That boss you struggled with will get easier and easier – hell, you’re even clearing them with characters and weapons you don’t even like! You’ll learn how to loop the game and enter the Real Game. You’ll continue to die, a lot. You’ll die, a lot, sure, but you’re starting to have fun. Eventually, you get past them because you had really good mutations and or weapons,Īnd it’ll feel great. “This boss is impossible!”, you might say. Can you reach the Nuclear Throne? You’ll reach a wall and get frustrated. All these things and more you could do if only you were good at this game. Fight your way through the wastelands with powerful weaponry, collecting radiation to mutate some new limbs and abilities. Not ‘the final hope of humanity’ post-apocalyptic, but ‘humanity is extinct and mutants and monsters now roam the world’ post-apocalyptic. Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic roguelike-like top-down shooter.
